From here to there – analog > digital; abstract > concrete
Bridging traditional architectural perspectives with the transformative possibilities made feasible
with the integration of today's ever evolving technology into the design and production process
Buildings
from modest remodels to campus wide reorganizations on a wide range of building types
Below is a selection of my work from various architectural offices; credited on the ‘Buildings’ page. Some of the selected work predates the technological revolution of the architectural profession. My process continues to be characterized by a true hands-on approach from abstraction to realization. With a keen appreciation for the complexities of the seemingly simplest of projects, I study the problem, devise solutions and offer alternatives. This process defines a path forward; then refinement of the solution leads to a result that meets and exceeds defined goals and objectives.
REVIT MODELS
proficiency with today’s digital tool box including Revit and Photoshop among others
Today’s digital software offers increased efficiency and productivity with conventional architectural processes; while offering an opportunity to create and iterate complex three dimensional forms and to orchestrate the relationship of the composition so it sings. I personally and solely conceptualized and completed with my hand and mouse the Revit model designs and digital work presented throughout this website. A couple of the models were my virtual interpretation of another’s work (as noted) executed with disciplined patience and exemplifying an analytical eye for details.
Let's connect, discuss your needs, our mutual interests,
and what we might discover in concert.
Combining the abstract world of imagination and design with the digital magic available today, I guarantee enthusiastic, engaged participation for your endeavors, along with conscientious efforts and flexibility that will lead to distinctive innovative solutions. A more thorough presentation of my work, inspirations and design sensibilities can be viewed on the ‘Revit Models’ and ‘Buildings’ pages.

“Architecture can't force people to connect, it can only plan the crossing points, remove barriers, and make the meeting places useful and attractive.”
